Requirements

  • 4-year degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field (minimum)
  • Master's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (preferred)
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, and/or operational analysis (minimum)
  • 2+ years supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Restaurant experience (preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of database applications including Microsoft Access, as well as Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong listening, communication, and influencing skills
  • Advanced understanding and working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
  • Sound knowledge of accounting and accounting principles
  • Strong curiosity with continuous improvement mindset and drive to support others with highly relevant/actionable insights
  • Oracle Cloud (preferred)
  • Experience with Enterprise software, planning software (ePBCS), financial consolidation software (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate financial analysis, reporting, and support to Company Restaurant Leadership teams, Support Center leadership, and partners
  • Manage Company Restaurant financial function by executing financial policies and managing Budget and Forecast processes
  • Support the execution of Inspire’s financial objectives, annual budget process, and recurring forecasts for Company Restaurants in partnership with the Company Restaurant Operations team
  • Provide hands-on financial/business consultation to maximize sustainable profit performance by review of financial results, diagnosis of issues/opportunities, and development of performance action plans at restaurant and multi-unit levels
  • Manage team that focuses on company restaurants for selected brands and/or reporting and P&L line-item expertise across brands
  • Provide financial and general business leadership to all levels of management within the Company Operations teams to support the achievement of goals through identification and presentation of profit opportunities and financial results
  • Lead Annual Budget process for company restaurants, and work with FP&A and other stakeholders in the development of sales and profit objectives
  • Build, assess, and understand key Budget assumptions developed within the team and in coordination with Operations, Brand, and Shared Service stakeholders
  • Partner with the Operations Leadership Team to ensure assumptions are understood and align with targets
  • Facilitate training and development of Operations team
  • Manage process to analyze variances by reviewing and analyzing reporting package with Operations Leadership Teams, Brand stakeholders, and Inspire Finance leaders at month end
  • Establish and manage process for tracking activities/ownership to improve results
  • Consolidate Company Operations across all brands into consistent, presentable format in all reporting to provide to Company Restaurant Leadership Team and Support Center teams
  • Lead monthly analysis projects including: Developing cost reduction and cost management initiatives and present to Operations and Finance Leadership; Providing guidance to Leadership by leading P&L review meetings with Operations Leaders to improve financial and operating results
  • Manage the activities and output of two or more (Sr.) Financial Analysts, including employee development, communication, formal performance appraisals, and project management
  • Act as liaison between Company Ops Finance and Corporate FP&A to ensure programs meet the needs of matrixed stakeholders
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Enhance financial analysis and reporting
  • Create ad hoc reporting as requested
  • Provide excellent customer service to Operations team and Support Center
