Responsibilities

  • Manages the design of compensation structures and programs that reflect industry standards and competitive market practices in order to develop and retain talent
  • Develops complex compensation models and analysis to plan for executives
  • Forecasts compensation data to ensure fair pay across different job roles and demographic groups, addressing any disparities that may exist in order to ensure fairness and mitigate legal or reputational risks
  • Conducts routine market research and analysis to understand industry trends and benchmark the organization's compensation programs against others
  • Helps establish and implement alignment of compensation and benefits strategies and communicating total rewards packages effectively to employees
  • Develops, implements, and administers compensation such as salaries, short- and long-term incentives, job evaluations, salary increases and salary surveys
  • May provide services and project management in other specialized areas of compensation such as deferred compensation, equity administration, and perquisites
  • May play a role in preparing Compensation Committee of the Board materials and the company's annual proxy statement
