Responsibilities

  • Supports automated equipment by tracking and resolving equipment issues
  • Manages the spare parts inventory and re-ordering processes
  • Acts as site lead point of contact to the automation vendors and contractors
  • Tracks equipment statistics and reporting to operations leadership
  • Manages the preventative maintenance tasks
  • Development and performance management of on-site automation personnel
  • Works with master planners on outsourcing needs; establish blanket purchase orders and vendor managed inventory (VMI)
  • Supports automation software and testing/troubleshooting software
  • Follows operation safety processes
  • Preventative maintenance on robots and other automated equipment
