Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a DevOps Team Lead, demonstrating effective leadership and team-building skills
  • 4+ years as a hands-on DevOps engineer in large-scale cloud environments
  • Familiarity with managing large-scale production cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, GCP) using industry-standard automated tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Chef)
  • Knowledge and experience with Docker and container orchestration using K8s
  • Familiarity with GitOps & CI best practices and tools (e.g. ArgoCD, Jenkins)
  • Experience in configuring and automating monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Mimir, Telegraf, Loki)
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hebrew
  • Experience with big data solutions and messaging clusters (big plus)
  • Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases (bonus)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers building and maintaining core infrastructure across all cloud environments
  • Design and implement the company's cloud architecture across multiple cloud environments, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness
  • Conceptualize and develop architectures capable of handling hundreds of millions of active users generating trillions of daily transactions and many terabytes of data
  • Actively participate in hands-on development efforts, contributing a substantial portion (40% or more) to the project codebases
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies and processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team
  • Provide innovative solutions that enhance the delivery of value to customers, reduce operational costs, and eliminate repetitive tasks (toil)
  • Play a significant role in designing the next-generation architecture and tools, collaborating closely with engineering teams across all disciplines to ensure seamless integrations and business continuity
  • Assume responsibility for all operational aspects of production, staging, QA, and development environments
