Requirements

Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or an equivalent technical field
8-10+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering with 3+ years leadership experience
3+ years' experience leading engineers implementing CI/CD pipelines
2+ years' experience managing non-engineering functions like recruiting, financial budgets, and career development
Extensive people leader skills with dedication to grow talent and skills
Prior experience fostering a culture of collaboration between development and operations teams
Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps internet service

Responsibilities

Guide DevOps initiatives
Lead a team of DevOps engineers
Focus on standardization, building partnerships with software delivery teams to enhance the speed, security, and reliability of the software delivery pipeline
Oversee CI/CD processes
Build partnerships with engineering teams
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across engineering and operations teams
Bring in industry best-practices
Build and lead a customer-focused team of DevOps engineers to mature DevOps platform
Improve security posture
Reduce lead time for key deliverables
Foster a DevOps engineering competency center
Execute the DevOps strategy and technical roadmap
Champion automation across the development lifecycle
Minimize manual toil and improve efficiency
Build partnerships across the software development and operations engineering teams
Influence secured software delivery to market at speed
