Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver Velocity Black’s design principles in line with the content director
  • Develop an integrated intake process for the team which streamlines creative requests
  • Work with a wide variety of teams across the organization to execute Velocity Black’s design needs
  • Create a collaborative model for the design team to work with teams around the business
  • Manage a team of talented designers to help them reach their full potential
  • Take the lead on design projects while also contributing hands on to the work
  • Deploy our brand across all touchpoints and be the guardian of consistency wherever we show up
  • Creative ideation and art direction in line with our strategic goals and brand identity
  • Create presentations that communicate concepts and showcase work
  • Coordinate external agencies on design strategy, production, and creative
  • Manage briefs, production timelines, and asset delivery
  • Lead a team of designers and manage their workflow
