Requirements

MBA from a good college with a specialization in HR
Additional qualifications related to C&B are desirable
3-4 years of experience as a Human Resources professional with a minimum of 2 years in a Comp role
Knowledge of fundamental aspects of compensation (base pay, long-term incentive programs, annual incentive programs, etc.)
Experience working with reputed Indian/Multinational organizations/HR consulting organizations

Responsibilities

Provide regular compensation and benefits consulting support to defined businesses to ensure alignment with Abbott philosophy and guidelines
Provide recommendations and support decision making for pay actions (job offers, promotions, equity increases, bonus buyouts, etc.) using survey sources, market references, internal equity, and other data
Manage navigation on all Compensation and Benefits related systems, track compensation actions, and run required audits
Create SOP on global mobility processes and manage end-to-end coordination for inbound and outbound employee movement, including stakeholder coordination
Manage annual merit process for India, including design and implementation of guidelines, system configuration and governance (Workday), merit reporting, and preparation of Taxonomy for in-depth merit analysis
Manage job evaluation requests for new/existing positions, recommend salary grades, and support business and myHR in correct grade fitment
Support compensation benchmarking exercises across Abbott, create grade-wise/role-wise pay ranges, provide market insights, and analytical support for decision making
Manage special compensation and benefits projects, including re-organizations and government-mandated changes
