Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in commissioning with a leadership focus in the Data Center space. Technical proficiency in commissioning gas-fired turbines, electrical infrastructure, UPS, Switchgear, Transformers, Mechanical and HVAC equipment, and Fire suppression systems is required. Familiarity with industry standards such as ASHRAE, IEEE, and LEED commissioning guidelines is essential, along with proven leadership and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in commissioning software and tools like CxAlloy and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

The Manager, Commissioning SME will develop and oversee comprehensive commissioning processes for data center systems, define and implement commissioning standards and documentation, lead functional performance testing, and resolve issues during testing. This role requires close collaboration with design, construction, and operations teams, coordination with external contractors and vendors, and preparation of detailed commissioning reports. Additionally, the manager will ensure a smooth system handover to the operations team through comprehensive documentation and training.
