Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years of successful software sales management experience
  • Experience selling in a consumption-based business model (plus)
  • Demonstrable track record of above target performance for the team, especially in a startup environment
  • Track record of enablement, performance management, and coaching/mentoring process
  • Operational attention to detail and forecasting consistency
  • Understanding and use of a specific sales methodology (MEDDPICC)
  • Deep prospecting experience and methodology, including leveraging partners to drive pipeline
  • Voracious problem solver, able to prioritize and make tough decisions to ensure team focuses on highest impact initiatives
  • Cultivates a team mentality with appropriate competition and growth mindset; people love working on your team
  • Owns business inside and out, celebrates successes, addresses issues, and works tirelessly to improve
  • Excellent communicator up, down, and across the business; knows how to ask for help, say no, and rally team
  • Experience managing a team via Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Take a hands-on approach to management and team efficiency, including shadowing/running sales calls and driving enablement programming to upskill sellers
  • Execute and iterate on sales process, forecasting, and programs to exceed revenue targets using modern sales techniques for customer acquisition to revenue generation
  • Utilize a data-driven, facts-based approach to sales leadership
  • Develop and improve revenue growth strategies through close partnership with marketing, solutions, product marketing, and R&D teams
  • Build, hire, train, and retain a top-notch sales organization as leader of the Commercial sales team
  • Contribute directly to the success and growth of the company as a sales leader
  • Build a bench of sales talent, promoting growth within Checkr’s broader sales organization
  • Manage a team of Commercial Account Executives to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth, including inbound demand conversion, outbound/partner pipeline generation, pipeline management, price negotiation, and ensuring customers go-live successfully
