Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, a strong understanding of statistical concepts, and excellent presentation and communication skills are essential. Familiarity with reporting and analysis using tools like Google Analytics, Mode, or Tableau is required, and experience with Python, R, affiliate marketing, or e-commerce is a plus.
The Manager of Commerce Analytics will serve as the data subject matter expert for the team, identifying patterns and trends in affiliate performance through data mining. They will complete in-depth analyses and present data-based recommendations to increase revenue and traffic. This role involves working with internal data teams and third-party providers to enhance data infrastructure, exploring relationships between commerce performance data and first-party data to understand consumer habits, and automating tasks through script coding.
