Candidates must have over 10 years of experience in business analysis or a related field, with a strong background in retail and/or e-commerce. Excellent documentation skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly are essential, as are advanced technical and analytical skills with strong conceptual thinking. Experience in creating workflow charts, diagrams, user stories, reports, and specifications is required, along with proven stakeholder management abilities to collect requirements across multiple teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, JIRA, and Confluence, as well as experience with user acceptance testing (UAT), process optimization, and requirements analysis, are necessary. The role also requires the proven ability to work across multiple simultaneous projects and excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, an analytical mindset with attention to detail, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are also important.
The Senior e-commerce Business Analyst will evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions. They will document processes by working closely with architects and IT, and facilitate meetings, presentations, and communication updates with stakeholders. Acting as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment, they will develop workflow charts, diagrams, and specifications for system capabilities. This role involves supporting project managers with project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables, as well as tracking and managing project milestones, dependencies, and risks. The analyst will also coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless project execution and stay up to date on IT and process advancements relevant to e-commerce.
