Responsibilities

  • Assists with the development and successful implementation of systems, processes and projects changes for the Cash Ops group
  • Assists management with the identification, assessment, monitoring and control of risk issues
  • Ensures sufficient cover of all tasks is maintained in the team, including identifying and training partners as necessary
  • Analyses and closes any gaps in implementing process/procedure changes in the Cash Ops team
  • Conducts performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions and provides hands-on training to staff
  • Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work
  • As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level
  • Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult
  • Balances high level operational execution and development with execution of strategic direction of business function activities
  • Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management
  • Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas
  • Provides input and support to budget management process
