Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Information Technology
At least 5 years in a leadership capacity with direct responsibility for managing teams and budgets
Proven experience operating within a regulated industry (biotechnology, pharma)

Responsibilities

Lead the Business Applications team as a "player/coach" responsible for implementing, managing, and enhancing vital business applications (e.g., Salesforce, Compliance Quest, Medical Affairs Apps, Veeva, Netsuite, Hubspot, Conga, Promomat, FiSpan, FloQast, Vena, Jama)
Serve as a strategic liaison between IT and business units (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Clinical, Quality)
Communicate IT decisions, priorities, and project information to stakeholders
Facilitate the investment intake process and lead the development and implementation of solution roadmaps
Oversee administration, maintenance, and enhancement of key business applications
Lead critical projects (e.g., EAP Readiness, Hubspot for Marketing, Compliance Quest Upgrade, Jama implementation, 8x8 Customer service phone system implementation, Scribe Now Implementation, Wesfax implementation)
Ensure IT systems, policies, and procedures comply with healthcare and data privacy frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOX)
Develop, maintain, and regularly test a comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plan
Proactively request feedback and be open to continuous feedback
Deliver actionable and timely feedback to people at all levels to strengthen relationships and advance initiatives
Provide consistent communications to key functional and cross-functional stakeholders on progress and updates
Build and maintain strong, healthy relationships with cross-functional peers
