3+ years experience in poultry or live production
Elementary computer skills (e.g., checking email, entering data into documents/templates, creating simple queries)
Willingness to travel 1-5 trips per year
Ability to supervise a group of personnel in a single department or work unit performing similar or interrelated tasks

Responsibilities

Organizing and supervising all aspects of breeder hen and pullet production to ensure proper number and quality of eggs received at the hatchery each week
Performing egg projections to determine pullet placements and ensure consistent egg supply to the hatchery
Managing egg production to ensure good quality hatching eggs at the least cost possible
Supervising technical advisors in bird and grower management
Aiding growers in bird management, overall farm management, equipment, etc
Overseeing policies and procedures for both grower and hatchery operations
Coordinating placement and movement of breeder pullets and males
Maintaining good working relationship between Tyson Foods and contract growers
Managing the sale of breeder hens
Performing other responsibilities as the need arises
