Requirements

7+ years of professional IT experience
Experience in delivering software releases relating to AEM in headful and headless deployments
Works with business clients to determine scope and develops environmental requirements for AEM projects
Works closely with management to develop and implement staffing and operational plans
Participates in the development of short- and long-term department goals
Monitors and reports on service delivery metrics and overall performance
3+ years working experience with AEM in headful and headless deployments
2+ years working knowledge of Adobe Launch and Target
3+ years hands-on experience with web development & architecture, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Marketing acumen and understanding of how to integrate and leverage MarTech platforms to automate and orchestrate highly personalized web client experiences
Ability to translate marketing use cases and business requirements into technical specifications, and scalable and practical solutions that deliver business outcomes
Strong process knowledge and orientation to deliver business outcomes
5+ years utilizing Agile development practices, including scrum, Kanban, and lean
Experience using modern software development and engineering practices, including DevOps, test automation, test-driven development, and Site Reliability Engineering
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to technical and non-technical platform users, stakeholders, and executive audiences
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience

Responsibilities

Lead multiple teams supporting Vanguard’s digital marketing web experiences
Leverage extensive knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud (AEM, Launch, WebSDK, Target) to drive business outcomes leading to higher engagement and conversions
Partner with Product Managers and Senior Delivery Managers to develop and build engineering subject matter expertise for Vanguard’s web ecosystem
Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, UX strategists, and web teams to deliver next-generation, data-driven client experiences
Maintain working knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud (AEM, Launch, WebSDK, Target) to meet and exceed needs of marketing and customer experience teams
Identify and resolve technical issues and develop/implement continuous improvements in support of marketing and customer experience teams
Hire, evaluate, and manage a team of high-performing engineers with a passion for innovative solutions
Define skill requirements for each team member and measure skills to define development and upskilling plans
Set performance standards, review performance, and make informed compensation decisions in accordance with HR policies and procedures
Understand and comply with IT policies/procedures, Enterprise Data Governance, Privacy, Legal, and Information Security policies/procedures, and verify deliverables meet requirements
Lead, coordinate, and participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
