10+ years of total experience
6 to 8 years of relevant experience in R2R captive accounting service centres or large corporates with Manufacturing & Service nature of business
Expert in handling multiple ERPs and varied accounting tools
Expert in Data Analytical skills and Interpretation of results
Flexibility to work in EMEA Shift timings (01:00PM -10:00PM IST)
Accounting Certification (CA/CMA) preferred
Prior exposure to SAP ECC version (Implementation phase) is preferred
Position requires a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office (preference for Whitefield Office, Bangalore, India)
Level Working Knowledge in Planning: Tactical, Strategic (contributes to short-term operational plans, anticipates/adapts to changes, monitors progress, reports variances, develops tactical plans under guidance)
Level Extensive Experience in Analytical Thinking (seeks discrepancies, organizes steps to remedy, identifies causes, quantifies costs/benefits/risks, breaks down complex problems)

Responsibilities

Manage the deployment of ERP systems to support financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing and other accounting functions as part of the Global Process Owner (GPO) team from Bangalore Global Business Services (GBS) Organization
Provide multi-functional accounting support for ERP deployments, including to-be process design, testing and training, data cleansing, cutover planning and hyper-care support
Act as a liaison between technical and operational accounting teams, connecting legacy processes to the future state
Ensure accounting processes are designed in line with overall goals of the Global Business Services organization, advocating for simplification, standardization and automated processes where possible
