A high school diploma or GED is required, along with 1-3 months of related experience. Key skills include basic reading/writing/math abilities, common sense problem-solving, and the ability to learn to drive and back-up tractor-trailers and straight trucks.
The role requires regularly standing, walking, using hands, reaching, and talking/hearing; frequently climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds; with specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Candidates with 1-3 months of related experience or training, plus the ability to perform essential duties like fluid checks, fueling, and truck handling, will be strongest. A high school diploma or GED and basic literacy/math skills are required.
