Requirements
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a technical certification or degree in a related field preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance is required, preferably in a manufacturing or extraction environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is essential, and experience with CO2 extraction equipment is a plus. Candidates must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints, possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and have strong communication skills. The ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and flexibility to work various shifts is also necessary.
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance and repairs on CO2 extraction and solids processing equipment, troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and conduct regular inspections of equipment. They will maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, and perform miscellaneous facility maintenance tasks. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, collaborating with the production team to minimize downtime, maintaining an organized work environment, ordering and maintaining inventory of spare parts, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives are also key responsibilities.
