Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic Tradesman’s experience or knowledge in one or more of: Carpentry, Flooring, Drywall finishing, Roofing, Concrete/Masonry, basic electrical, basic plumbing
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
Must be a U.S. citizen (position not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations)
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 100 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
Ability to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move furniture and other items
Ability to go up and down stairs and ladders (where applicable)
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment physical exam
Ability to work in areas with potentially harmful physical and chemical agents (e.g., fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, chemicals) and participate in medical surveillance programs
Familiarity with state and local building codes, OSHA regulations, and NFPA standards (a plus)

Responsibilities

Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and efficient manner
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment within buildings, including electrical, plumbing, and general building infrastructure
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure facilities remain operational and functional
Assist with emergency repairs and respond to urgent situations as needed
