Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Tradesman’s experience or knowledge in one or more of: Carpentry, Flooring, Drywall finishing, Roofing, Concrete/Masonry, basic electrical, basic plumbing
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen (position not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations)
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
  • Ability to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move furniture and other items
  • Ability to go up and down stairs and ladders (where applicable)
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment physical exam
  • Ability to work in areas with potentially harmful physical and chemical agents (e.g., fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, chemicals) and participate in medical surveillance programs
  • Familiarity with state and local building codes, OSHA regulations, and NFPA standards (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment within buildings, including electrical, plumbing, and general building infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure facilities remain operational and functional
  • Assist with emergency repairs and respond to urgent situations as needed
