Requirements

Candidates should possess a High School education or equivalent, with preferred additional mechanic training or a trade school degree, and at least five plus years of equipment maintenance experience, including a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a production environment. Preventive maintenance programs knowledge is strongly desired, along with welding ability and the ability to read and understand equipment schematics.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Manager will manage maintenance mechanics and perform necessary repairs and maintenance to all production equipment to ensure adequate machinery availability. They will determine work schedules, monitor employee performance, compile operational and personnel records, counsel employees, oversee preventative maintenance, comply with safety guidelines, and maintain equipment PM logs. Additionally, the role involves assisting employees with job-skill deficiencies and reviewing work performance.
