Requirements

  • Higher education, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry (in a Maintenance Manager role, or a similar position)
  • Knowledge about Lean Manufacturing
  • Advanced knowledge about mechanical, pneumatical and electronical systems
  • Very good command of English
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager in the medical industry (preferred, 3 years’)

Responsibilities

  • Supervising a group of Technicians
  • Creating work schedules
  • Repairing, registering and maintaining all production and non-production equipment
  • Supervising external service providers
  • Ensuring quality and safety level of production
  • Spare parts management
  • Reporting breakdowns and trends of breakdowns across all equipment
  • Implementing software changes as well as construction changes in machines according to procedures
  • Evaluating manufacturing equipment to identify potential machinery upgrades that could result in increased efficiency or quality
  • Working with various technologies as well as implementing new ones
  • Interacting with company sites across Europe and globally
  • Participating in the development of existing products and the implementation of new ones
  • Continuously developing leadership skills
