Requirements

At least 6 months Industrial Maintenance experience
Basic computer skills for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation
Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Effective communication and basic math skills preferred
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently
Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop
Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling
Frequent overhead work
Ability to work in temperatures from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees inside the plant; outside work may also be needed
Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements
Able and willing to furnish your own tools
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team
Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment
Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed
Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment
Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals
Minimize downtime due to equipment failure
