Requirements

  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly during shift
  • Ability to push, pull and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
  • Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, and gripping
  • Frequent overhead work
  • Basic Math skills: percentages, fractions, and measurements
  • Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification
  • Must have a minimum 6 months mechanical work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months)

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic Plant equipment
  • Minimize downtime due to equipment failure
  • Support production in addressing equipment problems during shift
  • Handle all mechanical problems that may arise
  • Ensure work area is clean at all times
  • Record keeping and attention to detail
