Requirements

Completed a time-served apprenticeship in an engineering subject, accredited to level 3 or 4 in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering
Previous background in a maintenance environment is essential, including practical maintenance experience
Fluent in English
Hold a UK passport/work permit and not require sponsorship in the future
Hold a valid full UK driving license
Fully committed to working safely and accepting responsibility for the safety of fellow team members

Responsibilities

Maintain the facility infrastructure and manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, vacuum, pneumatic, hydraulic, and F-Gas systems
Ensure downtime is kept to a minimum through planned preventative maintenance and break fix repairs
Maintain health & safety, quality, and cleanliness standards in line with company safe systems of work, including Permit to Work
Provide a professional service and represent the department in a way that promotes a professional working relationship
Evaluate machine and maintenance performance, driving continual improvement of maintenance activities
Ensure that maintenance records are updated and completed accurately
