Requirements

  • Completed a time-served apprenticeship in an engineering subject, accredited to level 3 or 4 in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering
  • Previous background in a maintenance environment is essential, including practical maintenance experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Hold a UK passport/work permit and not require sponsorship in the future
  • Hold a valid full UK driving license
  • Fully committed to working safely and accepting responsibility for the safety of fellow team members

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the facility infrastructure and manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, vacuum, pneumatic, hydraulic, and F-Gas systems
  • Ensure downtime is kept to a minimum through planned preventative maintenance and break fix repairs
  • Maintain health & safety, quality, and cleanliness standards in line with company safe systems of work, including Permit to Work
  • Provide a professional service and represent the department in a way that promotes a professional working relationship
  • Evaluate machine and maintenance performance, driving continual improvement of maintenance activities
  • Ensure that maintenance records are updated and completed accurately
