Requirements

Minimum of an Associate's degree in machining or related field
No less than three (3) years of related experience; five (5) or more years preferred
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered
Basic computer skills
Basic decision making and problem solving skills
Basic verbal and written communication skills
Prioritizing skills, assertiveness, and ability to work on multiple tasks and projects
Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
Ability to fully operate CNC machines and all manual machining processes

Responsibilities

Performs work in a neat and professional manner, maintains work area and assists in maintaining the Plexus Engineering Solutions Lab to 6S standards
Supports ongoing efforts to improve the fabrication process to remain competitive; identifies and offers suggestions for process improvement to improve quality and/or reduce cost
Provides quality products and services to all internal and external customers
Fabricates and assembles components/complete systems based on prints or as directed by engineering
Supports CAD/CAM efforts as needed and provides proper feedback to engineering teams
Owns equipment maintenance and stock items for the shop
