Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes
- Skilled in operating manual mills and lathes
- Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming
- Proficient in the use of precision inspection equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Solid understanding of GD&T principles and blueprint reading
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy with ability to learn new systems and tools
- Capable of safely lifting up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in applied shop mathematics
- Demonstrated pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Motivated to expand skillset and adapt to evolving company and industry needs
- Willingness to work overtime as required to support production schedules
Responsibilities
- Setup, operate, and prove-out programs on a variety of CNC and manual machines
- Execute print-to-part manufacturing of precision tooling and hardware
- Machine high-precision, quick-turn projects as well as small-batch production runs with consistent attention to detail
- Perform machining operations from blueprints, drawings, models, and verbal instructions
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective, solutions-oriented feedback
- Communicate clearly and proactively to resolve technical challenges
- Ensure all hardware meets blueprint specifications through meticulous attention to detail
- Proactively identify and address issues to maintain quality and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of industry experts
- Uphold a safe and healthy work environment to ensure everyone makes it “Home for Dinner.”
