Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes
  • Skilled in operating manual mills and lathes
  • Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming
  • Proficient in the use of precision inspection equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of GD&T principles and blueprint reading
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy with ability to learn new systems and tools
  • Capable of safely lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Proficient in applied shop mathematics
  • Demonstrated pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail
  • Motivated to expand skillset and adapt to evolving company and industry needs
  • Willingness to work overtime as required to support production schedules

Responsibilities

  • Setup, operate, and prove-out programs on a variety of CNC and manual machines
  • Execute print-to-part manufacturing of precision tooling and hardware
  • Machine high-precision, quick-turn projects as well as small-batch production runs with consistent attention to detail
  • Perform machining operations from blueprints, drawings, models, and verbal instructions
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective, solutions-oriented feedback
  • Communicate clearly and proactively to resolve technical challenges
  • Ensure all hardware meets blueprint specifications through meticulous attention to detail
  • Proactively identify and address issues to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of industry experts
  • Uphold a safe and healthy work environment to ensure everyone makes it “Home for Dinner.”
