Candidates must have an MS or Ph.D. in EE, Computer Science, Applied Math, or related fields. Required skills include research experience in machine learning, computer vision, or robotics, with specific expertise in areas like reinforcement learning, object detection, deep learning, transformers, and generative AI. Hands-on experience with Python, C/C++, machine learning tools (PyTorch, TensorFlow), and 3D simulation tools is necessary. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or permanent residents and able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
The Machine Learning Engineer will perform R&D, engineering, and software development in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and robotics. Responsibilities include algorithm development, sensor data processing, data simulation, software implementation, hardware interfacing, and prototype development. The role also involves staying current with emerging trends, solving customer problems, writing invention disclosures and papers, briefing customers, writing proposals, conducting prototype demonstrations, and marketing HRL expertise.
