You will act as the key liaison between shippers and carriers, building lasting relationships and ensuring efficient load coverage.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in Logistics, Brokerage, or a similar logistics/supply chain role.
• Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrier Relationship Management: Source and build carrier relationships, vet and qualify carriers, match loads with qualified capacity, and develop and manage carrier networks.
• Load Coverage: Efficiently cover loads by negotiating rates with carriers and ensuring competitive pricing for clients.
• Shipment Management: Manage the load lifecycle, including tracking and tracing shipments, providing proactive updates to clients, and resolving transportation issues, delays, or disputes efficiently.
• Market Awareness: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and market trends.
• System Utilization: Use logistics software and tools to manage shipments and documentation.
• Performance: Meet and exceed monthly KPIs related to load volume, margin, and service levels.
