Position Overview

World Kinect Corporation is seeking a Logistics Coordinator III to lead operational excellence, manage a team, and ensure the seamless delivery of fuel across our network. This is a senior-level role for an experienced logistics professional who excels at solving complex challenges, optimizing systems, and leading people in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. You will be central to our logistics operations, collaborating with terminal managers, carrier partners, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and results.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Inspire: Supervise and mentor logistics staff, ensuring high performance and a collaborative team culture.
• Solve Problems Fast: Tackle transportation, system, and customer issues with confidence and speed.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Manage driver scheduling, truck coordination, and customer demand fulfillment with precision.
• Maximize Efficiency: Partner with terminals and supply teams to streamline operations and boost profitability.
• Own the Numbers: Take charge of P&L for each truck and delivery, making decisions that directly impact the bottom line.
• Ensure Compliance: Monitor and enforce DOT, OSHA, and hazardous materials regulations.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work cross-functionally with analytics, safety, fleet, and sales teams to align goals and improve outcomes.
• Innovate & Improve: Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology integration to enhance logistics performance.

Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience as a petroleum dispatcher is required. Strong background in DOT and hazardous materials handling.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. College coursework is a plus.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in logistics software and digital tools.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and manage performance.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Communication: Clear, confident communicator across all levels of the organization.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of fuel logistics, transportation regulations, and safety protocols.
