Requirements

  • Strong communication and handy-person skills (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing door hinges, unclogging toilets, helping guests/owners over phone)
  • Experience in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry highly preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in operational support roles; housekeeping and maintenance highly preferred
  • Prior experience in supervisory or management level positions in a similar industry highly preferred
  • Technical computer skills on laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
  • Reliable personal transportation (frequent travel between worksites required)
  • Dependable, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team
  • Showing up on time and prepared

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team through coaching, mentoring, performance management, one-on-one meetings, and annual evaluations
  • Oversee daily operations and workflow for assigned property portfolio to optimize productivity and meet objectives; identify improvements and implement processes
  • Provide cross-coverage for team and management as needed
  • Conduct regular inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals
  • Support team with escalated guest and homeowner concerns via emails, calls, and tickets
  • Develop and grow relationships with property owners through proactive communication and becoming subject matter expert on properties (ensuring cleanliness, maintenance)
  • Meet and maintain company standards and metrics (e.g., NPS, unit appearance, efficiency)
  • Support portfolio budget, adhere to annual costs, perform cost-benefit analysis
  • Partner with Onboarding team for new units
  • Foster collaborative work environment, promote communication/innovation/engagement, address conflicts
  • Assist recruiting: interviewing, selection, onboarding new team members, ensure compliance
  • Establish/maintain open relationships with regional team and upper management
  • Perform light home maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned
