Requirements

  • Experience working in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry highly preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in operational support roles; housekeeping and maintenance highly preferred
  • Prior experience in supervisory or management level positions in a similar industry highly preferred
  • Technical computer skills on laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
  • Reliable personal transportation (frequent travel between worksites required)
  • Dependable, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team
  • Strong communication skills (comfortable talking to people online or in person)
  • Handy-person skills (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing door hinges, unclogging toilets)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team through coaching, mentoring, performance management, one-on-one meetings, and annual evaluations
  • Oversee daily operations and workflow for assigned property portfolio to optimize productivity and meet objectives; identify improvements and implement process enhancements
  • Provide cross-coverage for team and management when necessary
  • Conduct regular inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals
  • Support team with escalated guest and homeowner concerns via emails, calls, and tickets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with property owners through proactive communication and becoming the subject matter expert on properties (ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and care)
  • Meet and maintain company standards and metrics (e.g., NPS, unit appearance, efficiency)
  • Support portfolio budget by adhering to annual costs and performing cost-benefit analysis
  • Partner with Onboarding team for new units joining the portfolio
  • Perform light home maintenance
  • Foster collaborative work environment, promote open communication, innovation, employee engagement, and resolve team conflicts
  • Assist in recruiting process (interviewing, selection, onboarding) while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
  • Establish and maintain open relationships with regional team members and upper management
  • Other duties as assigned
