Requirements

Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally
Ability to walk, stand, lift, carry, bend, reach, and stoop on a continuous basis
Ability to frequently and repetitively lift up to 80 pounds, occasionally to 100 pounds
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Must be certified or have ability to be certified on all equipment needed to complete job tasks
Able to work within a team and work independently with minimal supervision to complete assignments within established schedules and deadlines
Must be able to work overtime as required to ensure that all stores are serviced according to daily schedule
Availability to work Monday-Friday, 4pm-12am (2nd shift)

Responsibilities

Report to the Loading Dock and receive daily assignment and instructions
Inspect trailers prior to entering for condition and being properly secured; notify Lead or Supervisor of any deficiencies
Utilizing provided schedule, load sheets, and case or tote labels, verify that the correct merchandise is being loaded at the proper time
Load cases and totes right side up with heavier, more durable cases on the floor and lighter merchandise near the roof
Merge staged non-conveyable merchandise onto the load lanes and load within the correct store orders
Count and verify all RX, Cosmetics, and Cigarettes; record accurate counts on the supplied Load Sheet
Maintain up to date and accurate recording of all required counts
Unload all merchandise from returned delivery trailers, separating merchandise by type; separate totes by color and distribute to proper destination
Sweep out each trailer upon completion of stripping
Locate merchandise ordered and select merchandise from selection slot (Non-Conveyable Picking)
Apply bar-code label to top of case and place selected merchandise on pallet
Move empty pallets from pick slots to empty pallet staging slot
Pull completed pallet of merchandise to staging area
