Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in the assigned territory (New York/New Jersey)
  • Achieve annual product sales goals for Advanced Staining, Digital Pathology, and Core Histology product lines into life science research labs (biotech, large pharma, CROs, and other research institutes)
  • Maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC independently
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance
  • Coordinate and perform product demos, installs, and customer training independently
  • Manage key accounts and drive sales of Leica Biosystems platforms and workflows across all product verticals, working with product specialists and applications scientists
  • Drive prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories, utilizing awareness of competitive activities and strategies
  • Conduct independent presentations of the product portfolio (hands-on capable if applicable)
  • Utilize continuous process improvement through Danaher Business Systems to increase sales and manage key accounts
  • Demonstrate ability to comprehend scientific applications and markets
