Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (Accounting/Business preferred) with a GPA of at least 3.0 (preferred) or at least two years of direct professional office experience
  • Direct insurance agency/company experience with Life products a plus
  • Must type a minimum of 40 words per minute with 85% accuracy
  • Flexibility for occasional and/or seasonal overtime
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively with agents, policyholders, and associates at all levels
  • Communicate effectively in verbal and written form
  • Make computer inquiries and entries relating to policyholder accounts
  • Communicate effectively with agents and others as needed to research problems and find solutions
  • Prioritize and organize work to ensure it is completed in a timely manner
  • Regular and predictable attendance in meeting a defined work schedule
  • Accurately and effectively respond to agents and policyholders on more advanced policy features, coverages, and procedures
  • Determine and obtain information, while applying good judgment in making decisions, when working tasks through the servicing process
