Candidates must have 3-5+ years of experience in provider licensure, preferably for multi-disciplinary provider groups, and extensive experience with Medicaid in a multi-state organization. Telehealth experience is strongly preferred, along with a working knowledge of clinical operations and procedures. Advanced skills in computerized spreadsheeting and database management are required, as well as demonstrated advanced working knowledge of Verifiable, Athena, and the Microsoft Office suite. The ability to use independent judgment and manage confidential information discreetly is essential.
The Licensure Specialist will manage the end-to-end process for acquiring and renewing licenses, National Board Certifications, and DEA Registrations for multi-disciplinary providers across various states. This includes communicating with providers and stakeholders, performing primary source verification, completing applications, and validating documents for accuracy. The specialist will also identify and resolve issues that could impact licensure, convey roadblocks to senior management, and maintain professional growth by staying updated on healthcare regulations and legislation. Other assigned duties will also be performed.
