Responsibilities

  • Screen reviewers for required credentialing and background information, including professional sanctions and criminal background checks
  • Coordinate between multiple departments at Dane Street for reviewer credentialing support
  • Perform initial credentialing: enter reviewer application data, conduct online searches, primary source verification of board certifications, licenses, background checks, and malpractice checks; upload documents; produce Judgments page with Medical Director comments; apply client Do Not Use status; communicate status to Operations team including denials
  • Handle recredentialing: send applications to reviewers, conduct primary source verification of board certifications, licenses, and malpractice checks; perform online searches; refer "red flags" to Medical Director; indicate Do Not Use status and comments in Judgments document
  • Update expired licenses, board certifications, and Workers’ Compensation registrations by reviewing expiration status
  • Conduct exclusions, preclusions, background, and sanction checks: create and receive sanctions check reports, search for sanctions, find supporting documentation (e.g., court documents, National Practitioner Data Bank), send to Medical Director
  • Manage reactivating, deactivating, Do Not Use status, reviewer contact data, and W9 requests: obtain W-9 for address changes, clone profiles for fundamental data changes, remove reviewers from panel per requests
  • Edit fee schedules: perform data entry for new or updated fees, obtain new fee agreements
  • Participate in Quality Management Committee meetings (URAC requirement), including follow-up activities
  • Assist Dane Street team members with credentialing content and advice for leadership, contracting, and Operations
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs
  • Maintain a positive working environment promoting client satisfaction and results
