Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field, with legal education being an asset. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract management, ideally within technology companies, is required. Advanced knowledge of contract provisions, terminology, and risks in technology agreements is essential. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Salesforce, SharePoint, and DocuSign is necessary, and experience with Atlassian tools like Jira is advantageous. Strong project leadership skills, a diligent work ethic, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of attention to detail are also required.

Responsibilities

The Legal Contracts and Operations Manager will be responsible for drafting and negotiating technology and vendor contracts, including NDAs, evaluation agreements, statements of work, consulting agreements, independent contractor agreements, and various procurement contracts. This role will provide support to sales, orders, revenue operations, and renewal teams with contract requests. The manager will also assist proposal teams with RFP responses and maintain standardized legal responses. Responsibilities include assisting in the management of global corporate entities in partnership with external providers and tracking strategic projects within the legal team. Furthermore, the role involves contributing to the development and improvement of legal operations, such as contract management, template management, and policy maintenance.
