Customer Trust Strategist - Legal Support

Candidates should possess the ability to categorize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks, including legal cases and regulatory obligations, along with strategic thinking and project management skills. Familiarity with Wikimedia community structures and editorial processes, Zendesk or similar customer support software, and Asana or similar project management software is preferred. Experience with legal and/or compliance workflows is also beneficial, and proficiency or fluency in languages beyond English, particularly German, is desirable.
The Legal Case Specialist will analyze and respond to legal requests and demands received by the Wikimedia Foundation, track and prioritize relevant cases, escalate them to attorneys or Trust & Safety Specialists, think holistically about legal workflows and identify areas for improvement, run reports, analyze data, and draft content for bi-annual Transparency Reports. They will also assist with technology regulatory compliance by liaising across departments to gather information and documentation for annual audits, and implementing audit recommendations, as well as communicating with various outside parties including attorneys, volunteers, vendors, and the public, and cross-training on other legal affairs workflows as needed.
