Requirements

  • Knowledge of Property Management software: Yardi - Preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience - Preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills: ability to navigate all types of situations
  • Attention to detail
  • Understands and complies with state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws, and Cal-OSHA
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Works well under pressure and maintains a positive friendly attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels

Responsibilities

  • Greet and tour prospective residents
  • Promote available units and amenities via online platforms, signage, and outreach
  • Explain lease terms, application requirements, and pricing
  • Process and maintain accurate resident files
  • Work closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work is completed
  • Process re-certifications, renewals, and assist with retention efforts
  • Understand and communicate lease provisions and community policies to new and current residents
  • Assist applicants with the application process
  • Create and update waitlist
  • Complete any daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by Property Manager
  • Ensure resident satisfaction through effective communication and proactive issue resolution
  • Conduct move-in/move-out inspections with residents
