Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in supply chain or engineering
  • 6+ years of progressive business experience in a regulated industry, with a strong background in supply chain
  • Certification in industry or university Lean/Six Sigma/Process Excellence is required
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities within a matrix organization
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to engage partners at all levels
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, coupled with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a communications and change management strategy in partnership with Vision Supply Chain leaders
  • Lead development and implementation of JJV Business Processes using Lean methodology, including annual goal setting, tracking, metrics, and business level updates
  • Collect and/or create best-in-practice Lean tools across internal, external, and industry sources; lead communication, training, and implementation of tools across JJV supply chain (e.g., Tier Daily Management, 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Problem Solving, Strategy Deployment, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, etc.)
  • Foster Lean and Six Sigma training and coaching programs
  • Partner with Talent & Culture teams to drive capability assessments and mitigate capability gaps
  • Deliver against the JJV and functional productivity, cost, inventory, capacity, and lead time annual and long-term goals; lead cross-functional kaizens and events as needed
  • Instill a culture of continuous improvement, and a mindset of challenging the status quo
  • Adapt to a constantly evolving environment and leverage change as an opportunity to improve processes and tools
  • Plan and deliver trainings in improvement methodologies to raise the organizational acumen
  • Coach partners in application of Lean methodology and tools
