Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles. A minimum of 7 years of experience in technical accounting, with a focus on revenue recognition, is required, and experience within a high-volume, global transaction environment is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Lead Technical Revenue Accountant will develop and optimize scalable, automated accounting processes to support evolving revenue streams while driving operational efficiency and compliance, establish project management frameworks to streamline technical and go-to-market accounting initiatives for continuous improvement, provide technical accounting guidance on new business models and product launches, assess revenue implications, and align with accounting standards, research, document, and implement revenue recognition policies, collaborate with stakeholders to design, implement, and test revenue recognition systems, and engage cross-functional teams to develop standard operating procedures that ensure top-line integrity and proactively drive accuracy, compliance, and readiness for new revenue-impacting initiatives.
