Requirements

  • Experienced contributor capable of working independently under limited supervision on complex projects
  • Expertise in reliability engineering, including test capability development, protocol development, test method development, preliminary failure analysis, test execution, data recording/reporting, data analysis/management, and test status reporting/presentation
  • Ability to perform data analysis and transform data into reliability information
  • Skills in conducting development and qualification of methods, fixtures, platforms, and software for reliability tests, including internal development and partnering with external vendors
  • Ability to facilitate system-level workflow testing and training of test operators
  • Proficiency in reporting issues using established procedures/processes

Responsibilities

  • Lead, oversee, and drive CDP (Concept Development Process) activities at MEIC
  • Prioritize deliverables based on PI (Program Increment) planning and business needs, taking ownership of small and medium CDP activities
  • Continuously assess the team’s workload and effectively assign ad-hoc requests from unforeseen priorities
  • Provide support to the team in creating design verification strategies as required
  • Manage and maintain the Kanban board to track and monitor all tasks undertaken by the MEIC team, ensuring transparency and progress
  • Train team members on new or evolving processes to maintain high standards and adaptability
  • Attend CDP kick-off meetings to understand project scope and relay relevant information to the responsible team member
  • Act on behalf of any team member during their absence by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the scope and status of all ongoing CDPs
  • Responsible for projects/processes focusing on reliability testing of assigned systems/subsystems/components, including documentation, protocol development, data analysis, and collaboration
  • Gather and analyze system requirements from stakeholders
  • Translate customer needs into technical specifications and requirements documents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet customer requirements and industry standards
  • Perform requirements analysis, system design, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Design, develop, and integrate Surgical Robotics systems
  • Supports planning inputs and participates in engineering reviews
