Requirements
- Security Clearance: Must possess UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance. Support is available for applicants with 5+ years of UK residency and work history.
- Experience: At least 12 months of Central Government experience within the last 5 years is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Demonstrated experience in High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) across Security, Data, Cloud, Service, and Solution architecture.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and develop high-level and detailed solution designs.
- Oversee technical deliverables, ensuring alignment with designs, and manage/report on any design divergences.
- Contribute to technical Change Requests.
- Maintain and monitor solutions against Non-functional requirements, design principles, and patterns.
- Support solution option analysis and provide architectural recommendations.
- Update the As-Is design to reflect the build, identifying design branches for integration into the core Aker product set.
- Document and map the technology stack to the architecture.
- Collaborate closely with and provide guidance to DevOps and application development teams.
