Experience with Human Resource functions and industry platforms such as SAP, SuccessFactors, or Workday
In-depth knowledge of current programming languages and technologies, with strong skills in writing code and completing programming tasks
Ability to own analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modifications of software improvements and/or new products in local, networked, cloud-based, or Internet-related environments
Experience leading projects in commercial, end-user applications, or infrastructure/technology platforms
Strong collaboration skills with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Project Managers, tech leads, and business stakeholders
Ability to facilitate translation of functional business requirements into technical specifications
Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills, including driving to closure and raising technical blockers
Mentoring and leadership experience in software development best practices and standards
Capability to develop and drive strategic technology roadmaps
Skills in testing, debugging applications, and identifying innovative solutions
Responsibilities
Own the analysis, design, program, debugging, and modifications of software improvements and/or new products
Lead projects used in commercial, end-user applications, or supporting infrastructure and technology platforms
Facilitate decision making by engaging appropriate resources and driving to closure
Collaborate with other tech leads on best practices and integration requirements
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Project Managers to develop business cases aligned to strategic and tactical objectives
Provide advice and recommendations on emerging trends for business and IT resources
Proactively raise concerns to management when technical blockers put projects at risk
Take a lead role in developing best-in-class practices and processes for the organization
Mentor team members on software development best practices and standards
Recommend improvements to processes and technology to enhance team effectiveness
Develop and drive the strategic technology roadmap
Conceive, design, develop, test, and implement software components, fixes, improvements, and/or new systems and applications
Interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications
Work with business analysts and product teams to clarify and document requirements (both functional and technical)
Champion custom software projects to interface with new HR systems, improve L2 and L3 support channels, and engage in HR Crew initiatives
