Requirements

  • Experience with Human Resource functions and industry platforms such as SAP, SuccessFactors, or Workday
  • In-depth knowledge of current programming languages and technologies, with strong skills in writing code and completing programming tasks
  • Ability to own analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modifications of software improvements and/or new products in local, networked, cloud-based, or Internet-related environments
  • Experience leading projects in commercial, end-user applications, or infrastructure/technology platforms
  • Strong collaboration skills with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Project Managers, tech leads, and business stakeholders
  • Ability to facilitate translation of functional business requirements into technical specifications
  • Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills, including driving to closure and raising technical blockers
  • Mentoring and leadership experience in software development best practices and standards
  • Capability to develop and drive strategic technology roadmaps
  • Skills in testing, debugging applications, and identifying innovative solutions

Responsibilities

  • Own the analysis, design, program, debugging, and modifications of software improvements and/or new products
  • Lead projects used in commercial, end-user applications, or supporting infrastructure and technology platforms
  • Facilitate decision making by engaging appropriate resources and driving to closure
  • Collaborate with other tech leads on best practices and integration requirements
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Project Managers to develop business cases aligned to strategic and tactical objectives
  • Provide advice and recommendations on emerging trends for business and IT resources
  • Proactively raise concerns to management when technical blockers put projects at risk
  • Take a lead role in developing best-in-class practices and processes for the organization
  • Mentor team members on software development best practices and standards
  • Recommend improvements to processes and technology to enhance team effectiveness
  • Develop and drive the strategic technology roadmap
  • Conceive, design, develop, test, and implement software components, fixes, improvements, and/or new systems and applications
  • Interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications
  • Work with business analysts and product teams to clarify and document requirements (both functional and technical)
  • Champion custom software projects to interface with new HR systems, improve L2 and L3 support channels, and engage in HR Crew initiatives
