Requirements

  • Proven experience in creative and analytical roles within content strategy, programming, consumer product marketing, or site merchandising, preferably in a media company or social network. Live Streaming and/or E-commerce is highly preferred
  • A robust blend of creative and analytical skills, with a keen sense for both trends and commercial success
  • Proven ability to generate creative ideas, assess & size opportunities, lobby for resources, and lead teams to execution
  • Highly organized, with strong project management skills and with the ability to define new processes to achieve goals
  • Ideally: experience selecting and managing external agencies
  • Fluent in English and French

Responsibilities

  • Understand buyer needs, trends, and cultural events to build events and franchises boosting GMV
  • Formulate and rigorously test hypotheses regarding themes, content & selling formats, hosts and efficient times for live sessions
  • Collaborate with top sellers, agencies, and internal teams (based in EU and US) to ensure a continuous stream of engaging content on eBay, developing scalable programs that engage our sellers in the co-creation of this content
  • Forge partnerships with key personalities and sellers in the Collectibles and Fashion sectors to attract audiences and drive sales on eBay
  • Develop and implement playbooks for both seller-led and eBay-led events; provide support for live productions as needed
  • Some travel may be required to meet with partners, attend events, or support live productions. This job may require you to work some evening and weekends
