Requirements

  • Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Program Integration (comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
  • In-depth knowledge of a technical discipline
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers and how own team's work integrates with other teams
  • Ability to use prior experience, technical expertise, judgment, and analytic thinking to execute policy/strategy and solve straightforward tasks
  • Proven interpersonal skills (as an individual contributor or early people leader)

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager to ensure multi-functional projects integrate properly within the product/program
  • Optimize team performance across the program value chain, functionally and technically
  • Proactively manage cross-functional interdependencies to maximize team efficiency and avoid gaps/delays in mid to long-term execution
  • Anticipate integration issues and discern appropriate actions to progress the team forward
  • Connect planning and cross-functional impacts of product NPI, Installed Base, Obsolescence, and End-of-Life
  • Drive initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interface with other functions for coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Impact departmental operations through planning and execution, with some autonomy within standard functional practices and procedures
  • Provide informal guidance to new team members
