Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record in building technical, API-driven, or platform-based products
  • Deeply technical, comfortable discussing system architecture and API design with engineers, and able to translate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excel at platform strategy, with the ability to define a compelling vision for a multi-sided ecosystem and articulate a clear, actionable roadmap
  • Direct experience working with external partners to build and launch integrations, understanding the nuances of B2B relationships and ecosystem development
  • Passionate about creating best-in-class developer experiences (DevEx) and ideally have worked on developer portals, SDKs, or self-service integration platforms
  • Highly analytical and data-fluent, adept at defining success metrics for platform adoption and partner onboarding, and using insights to guide product decisions
  • Strong bias for action and an owner's mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity to ship products that deliver measurable business value
  • Exceptional communicator and collaborator, capable of aligning cross-functional teams (Engineering, Sales, Partnerships, Marketing) around a shared vision

Responsibilities

  • Drive the evolution of current payment integrations into a broad, self-service API and platform capable of supporting diverse billers and payment types, potentially beyond rent (Platform Generalization)
  • Identify, prioritize, and enable new forms of integration with partners, opening up new opportunities for Flex (Ecosystem Expansion)
  • Explore and potentially stand up a developer-focused portal/platform to drastically reduce the friction and time required for new partners to integrate with Flex (Developer Experience)
  • Uplevel the quality, reliability, and coverage of existing integrations while continuously driving down the time-to-integrate with new partners (Integration Excellence)
  • Own core business metrics around the growth of the partner network and the speed and efficiency of new partner onboarding, directly contributing to Flex's overall market expansion (Business Impact)
