Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Business, Product Merchandising, Product Marketing, Retail Merchandising or related field (will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training)
  • Minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
  • Additional experience in apparel or accessories product creation role and deep understanding of the product creation process
  • Background in accessories with a keen interest in Streetwear
  • Strong problem-solving skills and phenomenal attention to detail
  • Strong collaborator with a proven track record of delivering strong YOY results
  • Strong organizational skills, drive for crafting outstanding product, and ability to learn, adapt, and lead quickly
  • Passion for serving consumers
  • Ability to partner effectively with diverse teams globally and across the Jordan family
  • High workload capacity and resourcefulness
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the streetwear marketplace and culture of sport with strong consumer understanding
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate, lead, negotiate, and impact the triad
  • Excellent business management experience, analytical proficiency, and understanding of retail math, with experience in Excel/Keynote/Miro/MMX
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Lead headwear and socks across men’s and women’s Jordan Streetwear teams
  • Analyse accessories trends in global markets and translate insights into authentic Jordan Brand opportunities
  • Craft and communicate a vision for accessories across wider Jordan Streetwear product, design, merchandising, and development teams, driven by end-in-mind storytelling and consumer-right product strategies
  • Lead the Jordan headwear & socks business in close collaboration with Nike Inc accessories team and licensee partners
  • Service a global marketplace with sharp line planning skills and meet consumer demands
  • Write best-in-class briefs that inspire the holistic triad, connecting with key seasonal footwear and apparel stories
  • Obsess over consumer’s culture of influence and create insights to fuel product lines + opportunities
  • Apply professional understanding of product creation, delivery, and pricing needs of consumers and key markets with thoughtful decision making
  • Serve as the primary systems expert in partnership with key cross-functional teammates, ensuring systems integrity and daily maintenance
