Responsibilities

Lead design strategy and execution for Unlearn’s core platform and AI-powered products
Drive end-to-end design, from discovery and concept through to prototyping, validation, and delivery
Partner with PMs, engineers, and ML researchers to define product direction and advocate for design excellence
Mentor other designers, guiding their craft, process, and communication
Help shape Unlearn’s design function: processes, rituals, and best practices that support velocity and quality
Lead customer research and usability testing to ensure designs are grounded in real-world user needs
Evangelize the role of design across the company, helping teammates understand how thoughtful UX drives business and scientific outcomes
