Position Overview

Verra Mobility is seeking a Team Lead for its Government Solutions Event Processing department. This role is ideal for a developing leader who is reliable, punctual, exercises good judgment, and makes sound business decisions. The successful candidate will possess demonstrated leadership characteristics and a strong desire for further leadership development. Emphasis will be placed on high-quality work and efficient production. This individual will support the Supervisor in fostering sustainable employee engagement and must exhibit a customer-centric mindset, considering both internal and external stakeholders. The Team Lead will report to the Operations Supervisor within Verra Mobility's Operations Group.

Essential Responsibilities

• Regularly review processor performance, providing coaching and training to address any identified gaps.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of core values and leadership competencies, inspiring others to embody them.
• Serve as a leader within a team environment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for team members regarding escalations and other issues.
• Collect and disseminate daily metrics.
• Respond to client, customer, and/or internal processing-related inquiries professionally, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
• Field and resolve escalated internal inquiries from other departments.
• Provide feedback and/or suggestions to the leadership team for improving operational procedures and processes.
• Collaborate in planning and strategy sessions utilizing continuous improvement methodologies.
• Partner with outside vendors and subcontractor organizations as needed.
• Diligently work on various internal project assignments as required.
• Assist the Supervisor/Manager with other assigned tasks and duties.
• Oversee the office and team in the supervisor's absence.
• Process events as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, college experience preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
